A list is a group of pre-defined answer values that can be added to a widget within your form. If you have a long list of answer values, you can create this in Zuant Cloud to save time adding them manually in the app.

Create a pool of lists which can be used across all forms, e.g. a country list or product interest list. Remember, any changes made to an existing list will be reflected in any forms using that list.

Step 1: Accessing Lists

Go to the Zuant dashboard and select Lists from the menu.

Step 2: Create a new list

Hit the + button in the bottom right and give your list a name, make sure to name it something that you'll be able to easily identify in the future.

You can now begin adding your list items! Hit the + button again for the pop-up to appear.

Enter the answer value in the 'Caption' text box.

The 'Code' section is how the value is stored in the database.  For example, you may want the answer value to appear on the form as 'Yes' but stored in the database as 'On'.  If you're happy for the caption to be the value that is stored in the database then simply leave the 'Code' area blank.

'Item points score' is linked to lead scoring, if you would like to set up lead scoring this is where you would enter the points related to that answer.

'Show more info textfield' will result in a text box appearing next to the answer if it is selected for further text to be entered in connection to that answer.

Step 3: Attach your list to a widget

Launch the in-app editor on your iPad and enter edit mode in your form. Add a new widget (look-up, single or multiple choice list/row or grid widget as these are the only ones which support lists).

Go to 'List Items' and tap 'Pre-defined lists' and choose the relevant list you've created.

Step 4: Save & Sync

Once you've added your list to a widget, remember to save and sync your device to 100%.

Things to note...

If you change values in a list you have created, any forms using that list will update too. Only change the values if you're confident no other forms are linked to it or that you're happy for the change to be reflected in your forms.

Once you have created your first list, you can then either clone an existing list or create a new one from scratch.
