Zuant has added a few handy tools which will help with alignment and structure. Alternatively, you can drag and drop fields to your liking. One thing to note - you have to design your layout in both portrait and landscape!
1. Layout
In Edit Mode, choose the aqua-coloured ‘Layout’ frame
2. Highlight
To edit the layout of a widget, you need to select it by highlighting. You can highlight a single widget by tapping on it, and you can highlight multiple widgets by tapping the screen and dragging your finger across the ones that you need.
To select all widgets on the page, double tap in an empty area on the screen. To deselect, also double tap in a blank area
3. Drag and Drop
Once your widgets have been selected, you can then drag and drop to position them on your screen
4. Save
Remember to save and sync your device once you’re happy with your changes
Use the Layout options to polish your form. Make sure your form displays correctly in both landscape and portrait.
1. Mirror
To easily match your changes from landscape to portrait (or vice-versa), turn your device into portrait mode and wait for the screen to flip. Double tap in an empty area on the screen to select all widgets and tap on ‘Mirror’ in the side bar on the right. This will automatically ‘mirror’ your changes from landscape to portrait
2. Caption
Move the caption to the top or side of your widget by tapping on either ‘Caption top’ or ‘Caption left’ respectively when the widget is selected.
3. Label
You can adjust the alignment of the caption text by highlighting your widget and then tapping on ‘Label Left’, ‘Label Center’ or ‘Label Right’
The appearance of the app on your iPhone or Android phone is copied from the iPad layout in portrait. Make sure that you have perfected your layout in portrait if you are using phones at your event.
